Not only is it Ironic, that the Cougs first FB game is at Leach’s alma mater. But thought it was also Ironic, when he was introduced to the West side fans at the BB game. Cougs were playing Pepperdine where he went to Law school.
Hell of a way to get out of yard work, Vince. I did discover that you can actually play golf with a tweaked back. My chiropractor was horrified, but what does he know? Hope it’s not serious, Vince.
You know it’s the Mariners when there’s talk of a guy heating up because he’s finally above .200.
The only good thing about playing the Yankees is that, since they’re almost always on Armed Forces Network, I was able to watch both Saturday and Sunday’s games. Millwood looked pretty darn good. And yes, Pettite was allowed a far larger strike zone, particularly low and away, than Millwood was.
Good for Paul Wulff. I’m happy to see him employed. Whether a Paul Wulff supporter or not, I have to say I respect him for the way he handled himself during his tenure as the coach and even after he was let go. I do believe the team improved and I also thank him for bringing in good recruits. The best to you and your family, Paul, in San Francisco. It’s a wonderful city.
Good news for a member of the Cougar Family. Coach Wulff did a lot of good at WSU and had turned the program out of the death spiral. Just not fast enough for some folks.
How about being happy for a great person who really cared about our program.
Good luck Coach and best wishes, thanks for all your effort and work.
drwonderful — why does this mystify you? Wulff made a lot of progress with the Cougs during his tenure. If you note what he started with and how their point spread dramatically improved, I would think this would speak for something. He basically inheireted a real pile of you know what. With the only focus seeming to be W/L and expectations on turning a team around in an impossibly short amount of time, a lot of good things seem to be ignored. I hope he does well.
WSU baseball was picked pre-season to make ncaa… now backed against the wall … they have to win out (almost ) to make the ncaa. If they miss.. will be a lost season.

WSU Baseball season > into the sunset-

Congratulations and good luck to you Paul Wulff. And thanks for your great efforts for “OUR” Cougs!
And Bretterson…go away again…only for a longer period of time!!
GO COUGS!!

Those who really know football have spoken.
Mark my words, coach Wulff’s work in recruiting is going to make Leach look like a genius.
he=him
ThaiCoug, I’m with you. Coach Wulff did a great job with what he had.He bleeds Cougar Crimson.I wish he and his family the very best.

2012 WSU baseball >” fading into the sunset”> diappointing.

Apparently the air in the cave finally got stale.
I bet he’d call Vince back. Wulff tends to reward those (like Cougfan, here) who wrote only positives about him.
Very happy for Coach Wulff. Hopefully he excels and eventually gets another chance to be a head coach. Too bad he’s working for such an a**hole now.
I’m mystified!
Glad he landed on his feet…

M’s are old news…over priced over paid, over….for now
