Appetite for construction: Jamie Udd and his son, Kayel, sample the sweet treats used for building their gingerbread house at the Central Valley Kindergarten Center in Spokane Valley on Thursday. Teacher Kim Martins has organized the Gingerbread House With Dad event for the past seven years for the students and adults to create confectionary treats to bring home when completed.
