Teen accused of machete attack in Spokane

SPOKANE — Police say a 17-year-old used a machete to steal a bicycle from a rider Sunday night in Spokane.

KXLY reported that officers were called to the area of Bridgeport Avenue and Ferrall Street in Hillyard around 8 p.m. News reports show that police found the suspect hiding in a shed with his machete.

Officers believe he and three accomplices are responsible for another assault and robbery around the same time in the area.
