A man was severely injured by a car and a woman was arrested for vehicular assault Saturday morning.
Spokane police responded to a report of a body in the road at Providence and Market and found an unconscious but breathing man, according to a police press release. The man appeared to have been hit by a car, and was taken to a local hospital with severe but non-life threatening injuries to his head and pelvis.
Shortly afterward, Spokane County Sheriff’s Deputy Gavin Pratt stopped a speeding vehicle at Hawthorne and Market. Dispatch informed Pratt about the vehicle vs. pedestrian accident after Pratt noticed the car he stopped appeared to have been in an accident.
The car’s driver, Hannah K. Hahn, 21, was booked into Spokane County Jail on one count of vehicular assault.
MOBILE
What’s it with these hit-and-run people? Do they not have the moral or intellectual capacity to understand that if you hit or run over someone with your car, you stick around and call an ambulance and the police! Now, I bet Hannah will never be allowed to drive again the rest of her existence! I trust the victim of the accident will recover!
That’s why they call it Dope, folks
I weep for this man and for the soul of this woman. I pray that he recovers and she learns how to become a real human being.
Dope, Middleman? I don’t see anything about drugs in the article. More likely “driving while blond” and/or talking/texting on her phone.
So glad she got caught. Great attention to detail by Deputy Pratt.
